Oooh, the purple looks really nice, and it’s super legible. My vote goes to this one.
The yellow one is gourgeous, purple reminds me too much of nix.
i have this very cute TV mascot that i have been waiting to use for four years… we have an analog theme going here, so let me know what you all think. it looks a little similar to the TiVO logo, but it can definitely be adapted.

@blue has the right idea with designs like this.
I think good logos and branding are generally simple enough to draw from memory, high contrast, and clearly legible when displayed at both large and small scales.
