As far as I’m concerned, I’m not ready to consider any decision made here as binding until we can formalize what the process for opening decisions looks like, what consensus looks like, and how we will keep logs of decisions made.
Maybe this can look like Nix’s RFC process? Maybe Loomio can be a part of it? Whatever it is - all I want is to have something. We can’t commit to anything if we have nothing.

I believe something like this would be under the banner of the Steering Committee to adopt.
TBH the licensing is also something the steering committee should give a firm stance on. Polling the community can be useful, but the propose of the committee is to provide direction for things like that.
I defer to the Steering Committee’s judgement concerning this matter.
